Psi Omega hosted its annual tacky Christmas sweater party the night after our last finals. They bought two kegs of beer at a local favorite dive bar and invited everyone in the college of dentistry. The only stipulation was having a horrendously tacky Christmas sweater. My search for a sweater began on Monday, but Goodwill was stripped! They said all of their Christmas sweaters were taken a few weeks prior. I had to wait until after my exams to go shopping again, so on Thursday afternoon six of us descended on some local thrift stores looking for grandma’s old sweaters. Boy, did we hit the jackpot at a thrift store in Grandview. I can’t believe these sweaters were ever made, when would they be in fashion?!
Crazy night and a great way to end my first quarter of dental school! I’m currently in Australia for the holidays, not missing the cold Ohio weather, but missing the people. Happy holidays!
